Mexico Vacation : Some pictures from our 2008 vacation to Playa del Carmen, which is about 45 minutes south of Cancun. It's a pretty family-friendly area, with more Europeans than Americans around. The water was super clear and so blue. Warm too, kind of like an indoor pool. Sometimes the water could be nice and wavy, and other times it would be very calm, like a lake. I went out about a mile on a jet ski and could still see the bottom of the water!
